The Role
Our client is currently seeking to recruit Design Managers to join their team in Southeast London on a Hybrid basis with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.
This role is ideal for someone at the early stages of their Design Management career. The company is committed to developing future talent and offers structured training, mentoring, and clear career progression.
Working alongside experienced Design Managers, you'll play a key role in coordinating the design process from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring designs are practical, compliant, and delivered on programme.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in managing the design process throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams
- Review design information to ensure it is complete, buildable, and delivered to programme
- Monitor design progress and help resolve technical and design-related issues.
- Attend design team meetings and contribute to project coordination.
- Ensure designs comply with client requirements, statutory regulations, and company standards.
- Support the management of RFIs, design changes, and technical documentation.
- Work closely with commercial, planning, and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery
