Planner (Tender & Live Projects)
Posted: 1 days ago
The Company
We are working with the Interior Fit Out division of a highly successful, cash-rich main contractor with a strong national presence.
Historically focused on retail, the business has shifted over the past 2–3 years toward high-quality private commercial office fit out projects across London and the wider UK.
Operating as part of a larger group, they offer strong financial backing while maintaining a specialist fit out focus, delivering fast-paced, design-led schemes for blue-chip clients.
The Role
Our client is currently seeking a Planner or Senior Planner to join their team. This role will involve working across both tender and live projects, offering a good mix of preconstruction and delivery exposure.
Based in Central London, they offer flexible working (2–3 days from home). Most projects are London-based, with occasional fully expensed travel across the UK.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Producing tender programmes, phasing plans, and methodologies
- Managing and updating programmes on live projects
- Monitoring progress and identifying risks to programme delivery
- Working closely with delivery, commercial, and design teams
- Supporting logistics and sequencing on complex city-centre schemes
- Attending and presenting at project meetings
Qualifications and experience (Ideal but not essential):
- Experience in a Planning role within construction (fit out preferred)
- Experience across both tender and project delivery stages
- Proficiency in ASTA Powerproject
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and programme management
- Commercial office fit out experience (desirable)
Salary & Package
- £80,000 – £100,000 (depending on experience)
- Competitive package
- Flexible working (2–3 days remote)
- Travel covered for any projects outside London
