As one of the partners and founding members of Recco, Stephen is the linchpin of commercial vacancies within the group. Having over 20 years in the estimating and quantity surveying field of construction, Stephen's historical expertise has meant that he has success filling permanent and freelance roles for main and sub-contractors, as well as high-end residential developers, turnkey and traditional fit-out, and general builders.

His insatiable desire to visit every country in the world (less than 15 to go!), as well as every major sporting arena and restaurant in the UK, is the same as his desire to fill every vacancy he has.

Stephen is known for his 'work hard; play hard' attitude in and out of work!

Joey Moriarty

Joey Moriarty has spent years successfully navigating the London and UK construction and residential markets, specialising in operations and design management, and building a reputation for straightforward and practical delivery to his clients. Like Stephen, Joey saw an opportunity to create a business for an experienced team with a proven track record.

Outside of work, Joey enjoys visiting new places and is passionate about music. He loves nothing more than playing his guitar and buying records to add to his ever-expanding vinyl collection.

Lucie Bacon


Operations Manager

Lucie is the heart of Recco. With 20 years' experience dealing with the demands of the most senior executives in insurance and finance, Lucie keeps the Recco team focused and on the ball. After dealing with the corporate world for so long, Lucie's passion and enthusiasm means that she is relishing the opportunity to have an impact on a growing business.

Committed to her family, Lucie would say that she enjoys the finer things in life. She loves holidaying and going on day trips with her son so that she can fulfil her dream to visit every zoo in the world!

Liam Doe

The titular “Eagle” of Eagle Search comes from the badge on the strip of Liam's beloved Crystal Palace. Liam has 8 years' experience working with tier 1 construction recruitment companies, specialising in design and technical roles with developers and main contractors in London and the Southeast

Liam is a witty, down-to-earth Londoner, who can often be found being interviewed by Sky Sports commentating on the ups and downs of England and Palace as the season goes on.

Hugh Bryant

HB Resourcing


Hugh has spent over 5 years working within the delightful world of recruitment. After 4 successful years working for a specialist search and selection agency, he decided to embark on a new adventure with HB Resourcing. His experience lies within commercial and pre-construction for both main and sub-contractors.

Outside of work, Hugh’s main passion is travelling the world and spending his time exploring every place that isn’t the inside of the office. Hugh is an avid Arsenal fan and says this helps with the ups and downs of recruitment.

Adam Stacey



Adam has over 10 years of commercial experience placing quantity surveying and pre-construction professionals with tier 1 main contractors, developers and house builders. Adam launched ASR Recruitment in 2020, with a commitment to providing best quality delivering an outstanding service to candidates during the recruitment process.

A passionate Manchester United fan, Adam is usually found working late in the office, going the extra mile for his clients and candidates.

Chloe Gladwin



Our newest recruit brings a fresh perspective to the Recco team. Specialising in building services and consultancy roles. Chloe is successful at placing M&E roles at all levels.

Outside the office, she finds joy in exploring the world, whether it's through traveling, embracing the thrill of snowboarding, wakeboarding, or trying out new and exciting extreme sports.

Lee Smith



Lee Smith has worked in Construction Recruitment for 20 years, originally starting out in Trades and Labour, before moving into White Collar technical recruitment. Lee specialises in the Construction administration sector encompassing HR, Finance and Health & Safety dedicated to building long term relationships with clients and candidates alike. Outside of work his passion is football, having played at semi-professional level and is now forging a managerial career in the non-league game.

He hosts a successful weekly football podcast called ‘Pick That Out’, interviewing non-league footballing legends of his home county Oxfordshire. Lee is also a keen fundraiser, raising over £15k for charities in recent years.

Kirs Vercani



Kirs joined Recco as an intern while finishing his degree at university. He excelled in a back-office administration role, and discovered that instead of accounting, recruitment might be the career for him. Working as a Resourcer, Kirs continues to impress, specialising in operational and design roles, and demonstrating the kind of dedicated work ethic that makes him an integral part of the Recco team.

Outside of work, you’ll find Kirs at the gym, geeking out over cars, or planning his next trip abroad.

Rakel Saevarsdottir


Marketing and Administration Assistant

Rakel is our Marketing and Administration Assistant. Managing day-to-day operations, Rakel works closely with our recruitment team to ensure seamless coordination between marketing and recruitment.

Beyond the world of Recco, Rakel indulges in creative pursuits, whether that means creating her own art, or going to see it herself. She is also a keen equestrian, her family owning horses and stables in her native Iceland.
