The Role
Our client is seeking to recruit a Planner to join their team in Central London.
As the Planner you will be responsible for providing a support service to the work winning and project teams to produce and monitor efficient and effective programmes and logistics/phasing plans, to ensure that projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Contribute to the management and development of relationships with customers and project stakeholders to promote the Company’s good reputation
- Support the work winning team by providing a planning service to produce efficient and effective programmes, method statements and logistics/phasing plans
- Take part in the tender handover process to gain a full understanding of the submitted tender and requirements of the contract
- Contribute to the production and maintenance of the procurement summary, design release schedule, information required schedule and main contract deliverables
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders regularly and involve parties as necessary to ensure prompt and effective resolution
- Closely monitor progress against the agreed project programme to identify risks in achieving completion on time, and opportunities for mitigation of delays/earlier completion
- provide complete and accurate reports to senior management regularly.
- Support the project team to recover full entitlement in respect of customer changes and extensions of time, including production of delay analysis/impact programmes and narrative reports
- Supporting the project team to manage disputes with supply chain in respect of programme matters
- Contribute to Post Contract Reviews to identify lessons learnt to inform improvement in project processes
