The Company
We are working with a market leading and privately owned House Builder and Developer that has been established for over 60 years.
The business typically delivers between 500 & 1000 unit schemes across London and the Southeast.
These are predominantly RC Frame flats, but they also deliver housing schemes. With over 250 members of staff, this is a successful business that has a strong core team of Directors and a successful track record.
The Role
Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Technical Manager to deliver a 300+ unit RC Frame and traditional build project based in North London.
As the Technical Manager you will be responsible for managing a Technical Coordinator on the project.
This role will be split between office and site.
Experience in both RC Frame and Traditional schemes would be beneficial.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead and inspire a team of design professionals, guiding their efforts to deliver innovative residential designs
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and external consultants to develop design concepts that align with market trends and project goals
- Manage design schedules and budgets, ensuring that design phases are completed on time and within allocated resources
- Conduct regular design reviews to ensure compliance with quality, functionality, and cost parameters
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand customer preferences and incorporate them into the design process
- Act as the design interface with local authorities, planning departments, and other regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance
- Maintain a deep understanding of design trends, materials, and construction methods to continuously enhance design quality and innovation
