The Company
We are currently collaborating with a main contractor that specialises in the refurbishment of historical buildings and structures as well acting as a subcontractor dealing with complex multi trade projects.
Project values typically range between £100k to £1 million but they also undertake schemes valuing up to £5 million in sectors including residential, commercial, hospitality and ecclesiastic.
Services include cleaning, metalwork, stonework, masonry, decoration, roofing, brickwork and stonework
The Role
Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Business Manager to assist with marketing and business development activities to promote the company and secure a pipeline of work to meet the company turnover and profit objectives.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively develop and manage relationships with customers, consultants and other project stakeholders to promote the Company’s good reputation
- Obtain market intelligence and track future pricing opportunities with the objective of securing a place on tender lists
- Gather intelligence on current pricing opportunities and feed back to Directors and work winning team members
- Gather information from customers and consultants on selection questionnaire and tender submission performance to inform improvement of future submissions
- Assist with the process of managing secured frameworks, liaising with others within the Company as necessary
- Assist with the marketing and publicity activities of the business development team
- Keep abreast of developments in industry best practice and trends within the industry and disseminate information to others within the Company as appropriate
