Projects are based in and around London and the south, with values ranging from £100,000 to £30 million.

Project Examples:

Extension, Education

Scope of work included expansion of three separate school buildings to create space for new classrooms, sports court, ITC suite and kitchen as well as refurbishment of the car park. Valued at £20 million.

New Build, Apartments

Involves demolition of previous dwelling and the design and build of two new three storey townhouses which achieve zero carbon standards, features include three bedrooms with private garden, valued at £1 million.

The Role

Our client is currently seeking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Southwest London working on a mixture of new build and refurbishment projects in various sectors.

The successful candidate will support the Quantity Surveying team in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This role offers a great opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career within a supportive and forward-thinking company.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and evaluate the work performed
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation
  • Support in analysing completed work and arranging for payments to contractors
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cost control and project efficiency
  • Help in the preparation of reports, cost forecasts, and financial statements
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all project activities
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks and cost variances
