Our client is a main contractor that specialises in new Build schemes, Refurbishments and Fit-Outs for the Commercial, Leisure, Education, Residential, and Heritage sectors.

Projects are based in Central London and are consistently finished on time and to a high standard due to the attitude of our clients skilled team.

They have been operational for over 15 years and over time have grown a large client base that consistently return for repeat business.

Project Examples:

  • Refurbishment | Commercial - Involved refurbishment and fit-out of an existing 8-storey building, installing bomb and blast resistant windows and CCTV systems, as well as a new computer and meeting rooms.
  • New Build | Education - Design and Build of a new sports complex, featuring six courts, swimming pool, changing rooms, a gym, and aerobics studio.
  • New Build | Retail - Scope of work consisted of demolition of existing building while still maintaining its façade, to create a modern six-storey gallery, featuring double-height salesroom, preview galleries, and café.

The Role

Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Project Manager/Senior Contracts Manager to work on a super prime residential project valued at £40 million involving the fit out of duplex apartment along with minor structural works.

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience working on high end residential or hotel schemes.

As the Project/Senior Contracts Manager you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, managing contracts, and ensuring the successful delivery of the project.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, milestones, and resource allocation

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to finalize project details

• Organize and lead project meetings to align all parties involved

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

• Oversee the execution of contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met

• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services

• Develop and manage project budgets

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders

• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget

• Facilitate communication between different teams to resolve contract-related issues

• Prepare for and support internal and external audits related to contracts

• Prepare regular reports on contract performance, risks, and issues
