We are currently working with a market leading engineering and construction main contractor that specialises in delivering turnkey projects worldwide across the Advanced Manufacturing, Data Centre, Logistics and Pharmaceutical sectors.
Established over 20 years ago, the company turns over £500+ million and has offices across the UK, Europe, USA and more.
The Role
Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Quality Manager to join their team working on projects across England.
As a Quality Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with the requirements of the quality management standard ISO9001, and that high standards in relation to quality matters are maintained at all times.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure that the Company Health and Safety policy is complied with at all times, leading by example in putting safety above all other considerations
- To ensure that the processes needed for the management system are established, implemented and maintained
- To report to top management on the performance of the management system and any opportunities for improvement
- To ensure that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes are planned and implemented
- To support the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the company
- To support the maintenance of appropriate objectives and measures at all levels of the business
- To oversee the monitoring of performance against the objectives
- To monitor the provision of resources to maintain the management system and to report the status to the Senior Management Team
- To ensure the policy is accurate and up to date
- To maintain an effective management review process and to chair meetings
- To develop an annual audit programme and undertake system audits against 9001, 14001 and 45001
- To monitor the corrective actions generated by the audit programme and ensure that they are closed in a timely manner
- To keep the Management System Manual up to date
